We assist students in identifying their preferred universities/colleges for applications. Through a customized Google form, we guide students in assessing institutions based on key factors, identifying green and red flags. The college list is divided into three categories: Safety, Reach, and Aspiration, and is refined from 25-30 schools to 10-15 using over 40 parameters, such as location, selectivity, SAT scores, research opportunities, alumni network, scholarships, and more.
Choosing Colleges
We work with students to create a polished, comprehensive resume/CV that highlights their background, academics, extracurricular activities, internships, and volunteer work. Each section is carefully crafted to optimize the impact of this crucial one-page document.
Resume/CV Building
Colleges allow up to 10 activities, with a strict limit of 50 characters for the title and 150 characters for the description. We help students strategically highlight key achievements, focusing on quantifiable metrics that showcase their impact. Additional guidance is provided on maximizing extracurricular involvement.
Activity List
We encourage students to build a full activity list, covering a range of areas such as online courses, sports, languages, coding, and leadership roles. We recommend reputable online platforms and provide guidance on pursuing meaningful extracurriculars to strengthen their applications.
Enhancing Extracurricular Achievements
The essay is a pivotal part of the application process, allowing students to present their personal stories and character. We assist with brainstorming, writing, and editing Common App and supplemental essays, focusing on growth-oriented narratives and multiple rounds of revisions to ensure high-quality, error-free submissions.
Essay Brainstorming and Editing
We help students draft brag sheets with key points for their teachers, professors, or guidance counselors to highlight in recommendation letters. We also provide advice on selecting the best recommenders and how to approach them effectively.
Letters of Recommendation
We support students in drafting detailed proposals for forming new clubs or taking leadership positions. From planning agendas to fundraising strategies, we help students showcase leadership and initiative in areas like student council, DECA, MUN, AI, and more.
Formulating Leadership Roles and Clubs
Interviews are a common step for top-tier universities. We help students prepare by providing tailored guidance on likely questions and how to frame their answers effectively for each specific institution.
Interview Preparation
Using our network, we connect students with current students or recent graduates from the universities they are applying to. These 1-on-1 interactions offer valuable insights into making informed application decisions and understanding program fit.
Networking with Students and Professors
We advise students on how to approach teachers for predicted scores and offer guidance on requesting realistic score adjustments where appropriate.
Managing Predicted Scores
We explore all possible scholarships and grants within students' networks and provide support in discovering opportunities that students and parents may not be aware of.
Exploring Scholarship Opportunities
We assist students in preparing for standardized exams such as the SAT, ACT, and PSAT. A comprehensive document is available upon request to guide them through the preparation process.
